Introduction

Apart from the Hong Kong MAKE Award which is conferred to enterprises and organisations on their overall achievements in the successful implementation of corporate-wide KM programmes, the Outstanding KM Project Award 2012 from the Knowledge Management Research Centre will also be introduced this year to individuals or teams who have designed and launched KM projects successfully in specific areas of an organisation. This award is to give recognition to applicants who have demonstrated sufficient mastery of the KM techniques in their projects to fulfill their organisation or business goals.
